The Unitarian Universalist Church of Livermore (UUCiL) is hosting a Young Adult Our Whole Lives (OWL) course starting in the Spring of 2020. Our Whole Lives defines a young adult as a person between the ages of 18 and 35. The facilitators will be Rev. Eleanor Kilpatrick, the UUCiL minister, and Rachel Leeman-Munk, a young adult congregant. Both Rev. Ellie and Rachel are trained Adult OWL facilitators and have experience leading Our Whole Lives.

Our prospective schedule (starting in February) is as follows:

  • Up to two Sunday afternoons a month from 1 pm-3:15 pm.
  • Up to one Saturday afternoon a month.
  • Specific dates are to be determined by facilitators with input from participants.

Please pass this information to any young adults who might be interested and ask them to contact Rachel at rayleemamunk@gmail.com if they are interested in participating or have any questions. We hope to have a diverse group of participants from across the Bay Area.

Below is a description of Our Whole Lives taken from the Unitarian Universalism Association website:

Our Whole Lives helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. With a holistic approach, Our Whole Lives provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality.
